Firli tiba di Gedung ACLC KPK, Jakarta Selatan, sekitar pukul 09.30 WIB dan selesai menjalani klarifikasi sekitar pukul 11.40 WIB.

Dasar laporan tersebut adalah Peraturan Dewas KPK Nomor 3 Tahun 2021 yang berisi larangan bagi setiap insan KPK untuk bertemu dengan pihak berperkara di lembaga antirasuah tersebut.
Firli sebelumnya telah memberikan pernyataan bahwa fotonya bersama Syahrul Yasin Limpo saat itu diambil sebelum mantan Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan itu berperkara di KPK.
“Pertemuan di lapangan bulu tangkis antara saya dengan Menteri Pertanian saat itu Syahrul Yasin Limpo, terjadi sebelum periode tersebut, tepatnyasekitar pada tanggal 2 Maret 2022; dan itu pun beramai-ramai di tempat terbuka,” kata Firli dalam keterangan tertulis yang diterima di Jakarta, Senin (9/10).
Firli kemudian mengungkapkan bahwa perkara di Kementerian Pertanian mulai masuk ke tahap penyelidikan KPK sekitar bulan Januari 2023.
“Maka dalam waktu tersebut, status Saudara Syahrul Yasin Limpo bukan tersangka, terdakwa, terpidana, atau pihak yang berperkara di KPK,” ujar Firli.
Firli menegaskan bahwa pertemuan tersebut bukan atas undangan atau inisiatif dirinya, sebagaimana dituduhkan oleh sejumlah pihak.
