“NTB merupakan provinsi yang berbasis kepulauan dan salah satunya mengandalkan pariwisata, maka atensi kita memperbaiki dermaga serta pelayanan adalah sesuatu yang tepat dilakukan, apalagi Pelabuhan Bangsal Pemenang sejati-nya merupakan episentrum pelayanan pariwisata untuk tiga gili,” ujarnya pada kegiatan Jumat Salam di Kabupaten Lombok Utara dalam keterangan tertulis di Mataram, Jumat.
Ia mengimbau agar Pelabuhan Bangsal yang merupakan gerbang utama menuju tiga gili mesti tetap dipelihara kenyamanan serta keamanannya bagi wisatawan mengingat tiga gili itu merupakan wajah pariwisata NTB di mata dunia.
“Semoga setelah dilakukannya penataan, Bangsal akan menjadi destinasi pelabuhan pariwisata yang memenuhi standar sapta pesona, aman, tertib bersih, sejuk, indah, ramah dan penuh kenangan,” kata Miq Gite sapaan akrab Pj Gubernur NTB.
Bupati Lombok Utara Djohan Sjamsu, mengakui program Jumat Salam yang diinisiasi Pemprov NTB tepat dilakukan untuk memelihara silaturahmi serta membangun komunikasi langsung ke masyarakat, khususnya warga di Lombok Utara.
Selain itu, bupati berharap agar sinergi antara Pemprov NTB dan Pemda Lombok Utara serta pihak lainnya tetap terjaga, agar pembangunan di Lombok Utara tetap berjalan lancar.
“Alhamdulillah, kunjungan ke tiga gili sampai per Desember berjumlah 600 ribu orang wisatawan. Dengan penataan yang dilakukan sekarang, tidak menutup kemungkinan pada tahun depan akan meningkat,” katanya.
