“Setelah menerima informasi ada tebing longsor pada pukul 00.58 WIB, Tim Gabungan PT KAI Daerah Operasi 5 Purwokerto langsung melakukan penanganan,” kata Manajer Humas PT KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto Feni Novida Saragih di Purwokerto, Kabupaten Banyumas, Jawa Tengah, Senin.

“Demi keselamatan serta penanganan jalur hilir dan hulu yang terdampak, maka perjalanan kereta api dialihkan memutar melalui lintas utara,” katanya.
Dalam hal ini, kata dia, KA dari Jakarta tujuan Yogyakarta atau sebaliknya dialihkan melalui Bandung, sedangkan KA dari Jakarta tujuan Solo atau sebaliknya dialihkan lewat Semarang.
Dia mengatakan berdasarkan data sementara tercatat sebanyak 12 KA yang perjalanannya dialihkanmemutar, yakni KA 155 Kamandaka relasi Purwokerto-Semarang Tawang, KA 147 Sawunggalih relasi Kutoarjo-Pasar Senen, KA 116 Ranggajati relasi Cirebon-Jember, KA 18 Argo Semeru relasi Gambir-Surabaya Gubeng.
