KCIC Tambah Perjalanan Kereta Cepat Whoosh Jadi 48 Jadwal Per Hari

Wto Sport – PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) menambah perjalanan reguler Kereta Cepat Whoosh dari sebelumnya 28 perjalanan per hari pada Novembermenjadi 48 perjalanan per hari di Desember 2023.

“Kami menambah jumlah perjalanan untuk diDesember ini, kita programkan 40 sampai dengan 48 perjalanan per hari,” kataManajer Corporate Communication KCIC Emir Monti di Bandung, Jabar, Rabu.

Ia menjelaskan Kereta Cepat Whoosh akan melakukan 40 perjalanan setiap Seninhingga Kamis. Sementara, untuk Jumat hingga Minggu, sebanyak 48 perjalanan.

Dia mengatakan tingginya permintaan dari masyarakat terhadap perjalanan Kereta Cepat Whoosh serta akan memasuki periode libur akhir tahun, membuat KCIC kembali menambah jadwal perjalanan Whoosh.

Jumlah perjalanan Whoosh yang sebelumnya sebanyak 28 jadwal akan bertambah menjadi 40 hingga 48 perjalanan per hari padaDesember, setelahnya KCIC akan melakukan evaluasi kembali untuk program perjalanan Kereta Whoosh.

“Namun, KCIC akan terus menganalisa bagaimana demand dari penumpang untuk menentukan jumlah perjalanan ke depannya,” katanya.

Lebih lanjut, Emir mengatakan penambahan jadwal KA Whoosh akan diiringi juga dengan penambahan KA feeder dari Stasiun Padalarang maupun dari Stasiun Bandung.

“Jadi dengan dari tarif promo yang baru di harga Rp200-Rp250 ribu itu sudah termasuk perjalanan KA feeder yang mana jadwal keberangkatan dan kedatangannya menyesuaikan dengan jadwal perjalanan Kereta Cepat Whoosh,” kata dia.

Adapun sejak beroperasi komersial pada Oktober, Kereta Cepat Whoosh sudah melayani sebanyak 600 ribu penumpang dengan rata-rata per hari mencapai 7.200 penumpang.

“Jadi, memang di hari kerja okupansi berkisar di 85 persen dan di akhir pekan itu okupansinya cukup baik di 90 hingga 99 persen pada setiap rangkaian yang dioperasikan,” kata Emir.

Lebih lanjut, kata dia, tiket Kereta Cepat Whoosh sudah dibuka penjualannya pada H-7 sebelum keberangkatan di aplikasi Whoosh, Access by KAI, Livin by Mandiri, web ticket.kcic.co.id, Brimo, Bni Mobile serta loket dan ticket vending machine di stasiun.
