Polisi menyita sejumlah barang bukti dalam kasus dugaan pemerasan oleh pimpinan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Firli Bahuri terhadap mantan Menteri Pertanian Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
Direktur Reserse Kriminal Khusus (Direskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak menyebutkan bahwa barang bukti yang disita berupa sejumlah handphone (HP), mobil, flashdisk dan barang bukti lainnya. Namun Ade tidak menjelaskan kepemilikan barang bukti tersebut.

“Penetapan itu sudah tepat karena penyidik Polda Metro Jaya sudah melalui serangkaian pemeriksaan, memeriksa saksi-saksi menyita alat bukti, memeriksa Firli sebagai saksi dan akhirnya melakukan gelar perkara,” kata Ketua IPW, Sugeng Teguh Santoso di Jakarta, Kamis.
Selain itu, kata Sugeng, sebelumnya penyidik juga menggeledah rumah yang diduga sebagai tempat Firli bertemu dengan SYL.

Berdasarkan hasil penyelidikan, Kepolisian menyimpulkan bahwa korban menusuk diri sendiri sebelum tewas terbakar.
“Terkait dengan apakah menusuk sendiri dan lain-lain, betul, jadi semua alat bukti yang ada di TKP itu menguatkan peristiwa tersebut,” kata Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur Kombes Pol Leonardus Simarmata saat jumpa pers di Mapolres Metro Jakarta Timur, Jatinegara, Kamis.
