Wto Sport – Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) mencatat nilai transaksi aset kripto mencapai Rp104,9 triliun per Oktober 2023 atau meningkat dari Rp94,4 triliun pada September 2023.
Kepala Eksekutif Pengawas Inovasi Teknologi Sektor Keuangan (ITSK) dan Aset Keuangan Digital dan Aset Kripto (IAKD) OJK Hasan Fawzi mengungkapkan, transaksi tersebut berasal dari 18,06 juta pelanggan aset kripto pada Oktober 2023, yang juga meningkat dari 17,91 juta pelanggan terdaftar pada bulan sebelumnya.
“Namun secara umum, nilai transaksi aset kripto mengalami tren penurunan, sedangkan jumlah pelanggan terdaftar aset kripto masih dalam tren meningkat,” kata Hasan dalam Konferensi Pers Rapat Dewan Komisioner Bulanan November 2023 secara virtual di Jakarta, Senin.
Berdasarkan data OJK, nilai transaksi kripto belakangan ini menunjukkan penurunan, yakni menjadi Rp306,4 triliun pada 2022 dari Rp859,4 triliun pada 2021. Tetapi sebaliknya, jumlah pelanggan aset kripto di Tanah Air meningkat menjadi 16,7 juta investor pada 2022 dari 11,2 juta investor di 2023.
Hasan menuturkan pihaknya saat ini terus mengatur aset kripto. Adapun sejumlah kebijakan yang telah dan sedang disiapkan pada sektor IAKD, yakni berupa koordinasi lanjutan dengan Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti) dan Bank Indonesia (BI),
Koordinasi dilakukan terkait pengaturan dan pengawasan aset keuangan digital, termasuk aset kripto sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Pengembangan dan Penguatan Sektor Keuangan (UU P2SK).
Kemudian, OJK juga sedang menyusun Rancangan Peraturan OJK (RPOJK) terkait Penyelenggaraan Regulatory Sandbox di Sektor Jasa Keuangan dan diikuti dengan penyusunan RPOJK terkait Inovasi Teknologi Sektor Keuangan yang mencakup pengaturan terkait fungsi pengembangan, perizinan, pengawasan dan pengenaan sanksi di bidang pengawasan IAKD sebagai implementasi dari UU P2SK.
Dia menambahkan, OJK turut melakukan kerja sama dengan Bank Negara Malaysia, Bank Sentral Singapura, Komisi Sekuritas dan Bursa Thailand, serta Otoritas Pengaturan Aset Virtual Dubai.
“Kerja sama dilakukan dalam rangka penguatan kebijakan, pengaturan, dan pengawasan ITSK serta aset keuangan digital, termasuk aset kripto,” ujarnya.
