Wto Sport – Federasi Serikat Pekerja (FSP) Industri Semen Seluruh Indonesia (ISSI) meminta pemerintah untuk melakukan moratorium (penangguhan) penerbitan izin pendirian pabrik semen baru di Indonesia karena pasokan semen saat ini masih kelebihan.
“Kami mendesak pemerintah melaksanakan moratorium karena masih terjadi kondisi over supply (pasokan lebih) semen di Indonesia,” kata Ketua Umum FSP ISSI Faisal Arif, di Banda Aceh, Sabtu.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Faisal Arif dalam konferensi pers 7 resolusi pada Rapat Kerja Nasional FSP ISSI, di Kota Banda Aceh.
Disampaikan dalam pertemuan tersebut, bahwa saat ini terjadi over supply mencapai mencapai 43 juta ton, dari kapasitas produksi semen di seluruh Indonesia itu sebesar 119 juta ton per tahunnya.
Faisal mengatakan, dalam kondisi kelebihan pasokan semen ini, perusahaan tidak melakukan ekspor, hal itu karena keuntungan yang sangat minim dibandingkan dengan penjualan dalam negeri. Bahkan, hanya mampu menutupi oper

Selain moratorium penertiban izin, lanjut Faisal, dalam resolusi itu pihaknya juga mendesak pemerintah untuk mengeluarkan kebijakan penghentian impor klinker (bahan baku) dan semen di Indonesia.
Kemudian, FSP ISSI juga ingin mewujudkan perjanjian kerja bersama (PKB) sektor industri Semen di Indonesia sebagai referensi serikat pekerja/serikat karyawan industri Semen dalam memperjuangkan upah/gaji dan kesejahteraan anggota.
Lalu, mendesak pemerintah untuk mengendalikan stok dan harga batubara di Indonesia. Memastikan kesiapan Industri Semen Nasional dalam menghadapi transisi energi yang berkeadilan (just transition).
Selanjutnya, FSP ISSI juga memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap langkah konfederasi serikat pekerja Indonesia (KSPI) untuk mengajukan uji materiil UU Nomor 6 tahun 2023 tentang Cipta Kerja ke Mahkamah Konstitusi.
“Terakhir, kami juga mendukung langkah industri semua Indonesia council dalam upaya reformasi hukum perburuhan Indonesia menuju yang lebih baik,” demikian Faisal Arif.
