Wto Sport – Analis Pasar Mata Uang Lukman Leong memperkirakan rupiah menguat terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) yang melemah setelah data manufaktur dan penjualan rumah AS lebih rendah dari perkiraan.
“Penjualan rumah turun -5,6 persen dibandingkan dengan perkiraan untuk turun -4 persen. Indeks manufacturing Fed Dallas turun -19,9 dibandingkan perkiraan untuk turun -17,” ujar dia ketika dihubungi Antara, Jakarta, Selasa.
Menurut dia, sentimen penguatan terhadap rupiah pada hari ini masih berasal dari faktor eksternal menimbang rilis data ekonomi Indonesia pada pekan ini baru akan keluar pada Jumat (1/12), yakni data inflasi yang diperkirakan akan lebih tinggi.
Selain itu, penantian investor terhadap pidato dari sejumlah pejabat Federal Reserve (The Fed) juga turut mempengaruhi penguatan rupiah. Investor mengantisipasi pidato less hawkish atau dovish dari pejabat-pejabat The Fed menyusul serangkaian data ekonomi AS yang lemah.
“Nilai tukar rupiah pada hari ini akan berkisar Rp15.400-Rp15.550 per dolar AS,” ucap Lukman.
Pada pagi ini, kurs rupiah terhadap dolar AS yang ditransaksikan antarbank menguat sebesar 24 poin atau 0,15 persen menjadi Rp15.470 per dolar AS dari sebelumnya Rp15.494 per dolar AS.
Sebelumnya, Analis Pasar Uang Bank Mandiri Reny Eka Putri menyampaikan bahwa stabilitas nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar AS terjaga didukung oleh keberadaan instrumen terbaru yang pro-market dari Bank Indonesia (BI).
Instrumen terbaru yang menarik bagi pasar itu adalah sekuritas valuta asing Bank Indonesia (SVBI) dan Sukuk Valuta asing Bank Indonesia (SUVBI). Instrumen tersebut ditujukan untuk menarik dana asing masuk ke pasar keuangan domestik di tengah risiko global yang meningkat.

BI juga sebelumnya menerbitkan instrumen Sekuritas Rupiah Bank Indonesia (SRBI) untuk menarik dana asing masuk ke pasar domestik. Respons pasar cukup baik dengan kepemilikan asing sebesar 10,8 persen per Oktober 2023. Selanjutnya, lelang SRBI mencapai Rp168,81 triliun per 21 November 2023.
