Wto Sport – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) Akmal Malik mengumumkan Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) di provinsi itu pada 2024 rata-rata naik 4,4 persen dari tahun sebelumnya.
“UMK tertinggi di Kalimantan Timur pada 2024 adalah Kabupaten Berau sebesar Rp3.832.297 per bulan atau naik 4,26 persen dibanding UMK Berau 2023. UMK terendah adalah Kabupaten Paser dengan nilai Rp3.372.362 atau naik 3,4 persen dari tahun sebelumnya,” kata Akmal di Samarinda, Kamis.
Akmal Malik mengatakan penetapan UMKpada 2024 itu didasarkan pertimbangan kondisi ekonomi, sosial, dan politik, di daerah serta hasil rapat Dewan Pengupahan Daerah (DPD) yang melibatkan unsur pemerintah, pengusaha, dan pekerja/buruh.
“Penetapan UMK itu sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 51 Tahun 2023 tentang Perubahan atas Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 36 Tahun 2021 tentang Pengupahan. Di dalamnya memuat formula dan cara perhitungan upah minimum,” ujarnya.
Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kaltim Rozani Erawadi menjelaskan pekerja/buruh dengan masa kerja kurang dari satu tahun yang memiliki kualifikasi tertentu yang disyaratkan dalam jabatan dapat diberikan upah lebih besar dari UMK.
Sementara pekerja/buruh dengan masa kerja satu tahun atau lebih berpedoman pada struktur dan skala upah yang wajib disusun dan diterapkan oleh perusahaan.
Dari 10 kabupaten/kota di Kaltim, lanjut Rozani, hanya Kabupaten Mahakam Ulu yang belum bisa menentukan UMK, karena belum membentuk kelembagaan hubungan industrial.
“Dengan begitu daerah Mahakam Ulu belum memiliki Dewan Pengupahan Daerah,” kata Rozani.
Dia menuturkan UMK se-Kaltim pada 2024 berlaku mulai 1 Januari 2024.
Pihaknya berharap UMK pada kabupaten dan kota itu dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja dan memicu produktivitas perusahaan, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah.
“Salinan Keputusan Gubernur dan pengumuman tentang penetapan UMK se-Kaltim pada 2024 akan disampaikan kepada para bupati/wali kota di Kaltim untuk dapat disebarluaskan di wilayahnya masing-masing,” ujarnya.
Berikut adalah daftar upah minimum kota/kabupaten se-Kalimantan Timur pada 2024, beserta persentase kenaikannya dibanding UMK pada 2023:
– Kota Samarinda: Rp3.497.124,13, naik 5,04 persen.
– Kota Balikpapan: Rp3.475.595, naik 4,55 persen.
– Kota Bontang: Rp3.549.307,67, naik 3,81 persen.
– Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara: Rp3.536.506,28, naik 4,18 persen.
– Kabupaten Kutai Timur: Rp3.515.324, naik 4,74 persen.
– Kabupaten Kutai Barat: Rp3.711.017,82, naik 4,5 persen.
– Kabupaten Paser: Rp3.372.362, naik 3,4 persen.
– Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara: Rp3.715.817,74, naik 4,35 persen.
– Kabupaten Berau: Rp3.832.297, naik 4,26 persen.
